Welcome to my little workshop in Tintagel, Cornwall.
From my workshop I handcraft quirky pixie and magical creature heads inspired by local myths, legends, and the spirit of Merlin himself and our much loved sausage dogs Mabel and Bosey. Each piece begins as an original model I sculpt by hand. From there I create a mould and cast them one at a time using either cement mixed with rainwater collected from my garden or pottery plaster. After casting, I finish every head and statue by hand before painting them in small batches. Because they’re made individually, no two are exactly alike — that’s part of their charm. You may notice small air bubbles here and there; these are a natural result of the casting process and add to the handmade character. Colours can also vary slightly from the photos as each batch is painted by hand. These mischievous, characterful little heads are perfect for the garden, a windowsill, or anywhere that could use a touch of Cornish magic.
